You will develop and test high-quality software, conduct code reviews, and oversee the deployment of new features.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with fellow developers and internal customers to create high-performance, responsive, and scalable front end applications in AngularJS with Bootstrap.
  • Detect and fix bugs in existing and new applications.
  • Consume back-end RESTful APIs.
  • Participate in code and design reviews.
  • Mentor and coach less-experienced developers.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Recommend, establish, and adhere to development best practices.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of software development, including at least 1 year of solid JavaScript (ES 5+) development
  • Passionate about writing clean, resusable code
  • Strong experience with:
    • AngularJS 1.x
    • JSON
    • HTML (HTML 5 preferred)
    • CSS (SASS or LESS is even better)
    • Debugging and tuning JavaScript applications
  • Familiarity writing unit tests for AngularJS
  • Working understanding of the DOM
  • Desire and ability to learn new languages and/or frameworks as needed
  • Skilled at consuming RESTful webservices
  • Good English communication skills in person, on the phone, and in writing
  • A love for working with other developers on challenging problems
  • Experience using version control software (Git strongly preferred)
Desirable:
  • Experience writing SaaS applications
  • Experience with GitHub and GitFlow (highly desirable)
  • Java programming experience (DropWizard experience is even better)
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • TypeScript
    • Bootstrap
    • Google Closure Library
    • NPM
    • Gulp/Grunt
    • NodeJS
    • jQuery
    • XML
    • Postman or Fiddler
  • Experience working in a Continuous Integration/Delivery environment
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience developing for the cloud (AWS strongly preferred)
  • Flexibility with regard to night/weekend work when needed
Education:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
