CRM Senior Analyst

Reporting to the CRM Manager, this role will be responsible for project managing various Salesforce projects from end to end. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the Salesforce platform and should have extensive experience with business analysis, gathering requirements and managing projects. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and have excellent communication skills. This role will involve business analysis, project management, but also light development on the Salesforce platform. The candidate should have an understanding with all applicable Salesforce limitations.

Responsibilities
  • Work with senior members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Force.com platform.
  • Manage and plan projects accordingly based on best practices.
  • Lead development work streams from design through testing and deployment.
  • Assist in the estimation of work effort, determination of required resources, and set a realistic schedule for development.
  • Delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks.
  • Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and perform handoff and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success.
  • Communicate with other technology resources and with clients regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions.
  • The candidate must have excellent communication skills and an ability to understand and document customer requirements so they can be translated into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable.
  • Have the expertise to serve as a Salesforce administrator as well.
  • Have the ability to work on projects and requirements on your own initiative.
Core Skill Set
  • Experience with working with business users to gather requirements.
  • Project management experience.
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification. Additional certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightening UI.
  • Solid understanding of when to use Out of the box customization compared to when to write code.
  • Experience working with Workflows, Approvals and Validations.
  • Updated knowledge on Salesforce latest upgrades and features.
  • Experience generating complex reports and dashboards.
  • Solid understanding and experience with various SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to reasonably estimate the time for tasks and then meet deadlines set by those estimates.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Experience in leading brainstorm sessions with colleagues to determine the most efficient and accurate solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models and technologies; ability to identify issues/opportunities and recommend solutions, ideas and more efficient approaches.
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management, as well as with external vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Thrive working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests and projects.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in computer science) with 4+ years with Salesforce.com.
  • Project management and Business Analysis Experience.
  • Experience implementing and/or administering a CRM system for 400+ users.
  • Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools and web services.
  • Experience of working in multiple Salesforce Orgs.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightening.
  • Experience migrating Salesforce Orgs.
  • Experience as a Salesforce consultant in the past is a plus.
  • Experience with development on Email Marketing platforms (Eloqua, Marketing cloud) a plus.
  • Experience of working in the Finance Sector is a plus.
